Jack C. McClendon

Chief Executive Office

John C. (Jack) McClendon co-founded Siena Natural Resources in January 2018 and serves as Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. McClendon has over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, primarily focusing on the financial and A&D sides of the business.  Prior to co-founding Siena, Mr. McClendon served as Treasurer and Senior Director of Finance at Permian Resources (formerly American Energy – Permian Basin), leading the A&D, Investor Relations and Treasury functions as well as playing a key role in all corporate debt and equity financings . Prior to joining Permian Resources, he held various financial roles at EnerVest Ltd and Jefferies & Company in Houston, Texas.  Mr. McClendon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Duke University.

Eric L. Stabinski

President & Chief Technology Officer

Eric L. Stabinski is a founding partner and serves as President and Chief Technical Officer of Siena Natural Resources. Mr. Stabinski started his career in engineering and operations working for Schlumberger in Europe and Africa, then transitioned to a research role in engineering (enhanced oil recovery CO2 mitigation) at Schlumberger Doll Research in Cambridge Massachusetts. Subsequently, Mr. Stabinski worked at Chesapeake Energy as a District Petrophysicist and was Vice – President Reservoir Characterization at American Energy Partners. Most recently, Mr. Stabinski was the Senior Vice President of Reservoir Engineering and Resource Development at American Energy Permian Basin. Mr. Stabinski holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Columbia University in Earth Resource Engineering (Chemical Engineering).

Nikita V. Chugunov

Vice President of Reservoir Engineering & Analytics

Nikita V. Chugunov joined Siena Natural Resources in July 2019 as Vice President of Reservoir Engineering & Analytics. Mr. Chugunov has over 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, primarily on the technology development side. Prior to joining Siena, Mr. Chugunov held a variety of technical and managerial roles with Schlumberger, most recently leading an R&D team developing next-generation technologies for wireline, well testing, well services, and software integrated solutions. Mr. Chugunov holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics & Physics from Moscow Institute for Physics and Technology and PhD in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from Russian Academy of Sciences.
